Good morning Golden Stars,

Good morning,Environment Canada has issued a Special Air Quality Statement that covers all of Ontario, including the Waterloo Region.
“Smoke plumes from forest fires in northeastern Ontario and Quebec may result in deteriorating air quality in our Region through most of the week. Wildfire smoke can be harmful to a person’s health, especially those with pre-existing conditions. Air quality and visibility due to wildfire smoke can fluctuate over short distances and can vary considerably from hour to hour and region to region.”

We are so proud of all of our athletes at Saint Anne, as they have been working so hard to train, practice and get ready for the Regional meet.  It is disappointing that this had to happen but as always, the safety and security of our students is paramount.

Take care and see you soon!
