Happy Summer 2018.  Hope you are enjoying the sunshine.

Please note: Our school office will be open between Monday, August 27th to Friday, August 31st, 2018.  Office hours are from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Please contact Mrs. Grominsky at 519-745-7847 to set up an appointment for any new school registrations.

Great news – Please note that our school will once again be under construction this summer. We are updating our Tech Room space and converting most of it into a newly renovated classroom.  We also received two brand new portables.  Recently our Intermediate second floor and library was installed a ductless air conditioning system by our school board. Thank you to the school board once again for supporting renewal and requested projects at Saint Anne School.

Transportation – If you have questions regarding bussing please contact the transportation department at 519-650-4934 Ext. 0, or go to the school board website at www.wcdsb.ca. Or see below for more information.

The first day of school in the new school year is Tuesday, September 4th for all students in grades 1-8.  On that day students in grades 1-6 will be asked to assemble in the gym at 9:15 am where they will be informed of their classroom placement.  Grades 7 and 8 students will be ushered into the Intermediate hallway for their classroom placement.  Parents are also welcomed to attend the assembly at 9:15 am.  This first day is a full school day and ends at 3:45 pm.

There will be staffing changes at Saint Anne School in the new school year and I want to extend best wishes to the following staff members that will be moving to a new school.  The staff are Mr. Lisi, Mrs. Lehan, Mrs. Murphy-Brooks, Mrs. Wagner and Ms. Comeau. Thank you for all you have done to support our students, school community and staff.

We will all miss Madame Caissie-Hache our French Immersion Planning Time Teacher.  Madame Caissie-Hache will be retiring after 13 years of service at Saint Anne School.  Best wishes in your future endeavours Madame!
